Collectors looking to acquire one of the most sought-after Ferraris will want to be in Monaco on May 14. That's where RM Sotheby's will be auctioning off this rare 1968 Ferrari 275 NART Spider.

The factory in Maranello only built ten such convertible versions of the iconic 275 GTB at the behest of its legendary American importer and racer Luigi Chinetti, taking its name from his North American Racing Team. All of them were sold new in the United States, except for this last car. Instead, it was delivered new in Europe, where it has remained ever since, passing between owners in Spain, Switzerland, and the UK. Along the way, it was repainted from the original gray to a deep metallic red, and its interior retrimmed in beautiful dark tan leather.

The venerable auction house anticipates that this gorgeous classic will sell for well over $20 million when the gavel drops at Monte Carlo's landmark Le Sporting club in a couple of weeks. The last example of the same it sold fetched a record (and rather fitting) $27.5 million, acquired by Swiss-based Canadian fashion magnate Lawrence Stroll. We wouldn't be surprised to see this roadster sell for even more.
