The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6×6 is finally in production, and the company is now taking orders, priced from $349,000. This six-wheeled monster is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 that generates 602 hp and 622 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.9-seconds. Other upgrades include: a modified turbo wastegates, new intake, intercooler, exhaust, and a re-tuned ECU. Only 50 examples will be produced, with each made to order model taking 11-months to build. “To ensure that the VelociRaptor 6×6 is as capable as it looks off-road, Hennessey has ensured that all three axles can be locked, while also upgrading the suspension and installing 20-inch wheels with off-road tires. Due to a lack of portal axles like the $1 million Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6, the VelociRaptor doesn’t have mind-blowing ground clearance but even still, it should be able to tackle some pretty intense terrain,” according to Car Scoops.
