Lexus is giving its most popular model, the RX, a facelift for the 2020 model year. Lexus has unveiled the updated 2020 Lexus RX and the three-row RXL, which both get revised exterior styling and some updated tech features.

On the outside the 2020 Lexus RX gets updated front and rear fascias. At the front the grille has been redesigned, while the headlights are now slimmer. At the rear the taillights have been redesigned and the bumper has been tweaked with an updated diffuser and reflectors. Lastly there are two new exterior colors: Moonbeam Beige Metallic and Nori Green Pearl and new alloy wheel designs.

Inside the biggest update is the addition of Android Auto, which is in addition to the Apple CarPlay and Amazon Alexa connectivity. The 2020 RX comes standard with an eight-inch display, but a 12.3-inch display is optional.

There aren’t any changes to the RX’s powertrain options, which includes a 295-hp 3.5L V6 or the 308-hp hybrid powertrain. To improve its driving dynamics, the 2020 RX has thicker front and rear stabilizer bars, and retuned shock absorbers. Lexus says that the stiffer suspension will reduce the amount of body roll, improve the steering response and provide a smoother ride.

For buyers that want a sportier RX, the new F Sport package adds a cold air intake, Electric Power Steering, new front and rear performance dampers, and additional drive modes.

To keep everyone safe, the 2020 RX comes standard with the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0, which includes daytime bicyclist detection and low-light pedestrian detection along with Road Sign Assist (RSA) and Lane Tracing Assist.
