Lenny Kravitz Opened Up About Co-Parenting With Jason Momoa, and It’s Truly Inspiring

Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz are the ultimate modern family. The two, who split in 1993, share a 30-year-old daughter Zoë Kravitz, star of Big Little Lies. Now, Kravitz is opening up about co-parenting with actor Jason Momoa, who married Bonet in 2017.

During an interview with U.K. outlet The Times, Kravitz shared how the two navigated a divorce and found their way to friendship. “You go through a marriage with somebody, you break up and it’s very difficult. But [Lisa and I] put the work in and we took the time so that we could become best friends again. Our families are blended.“

Lisa has since found love with Aquaman star Jason Momoa. The two married in 2017 and welcomed two children, Lola and Nakoa-Wolf.

Speaking to their extended family, Lenny added, “I love her husband — he’s like a brother to me — and I love the kids. It’s beautiful, but it takes work.” Jason made a public love declaration last year by revealing that he and Lenny have matching rings.

The singer shared with People that he and Lisa now have a sibling-like relationship. “After Lisa and I separated, we learned to find a new relationship. Then I met Jason when they got together and I love him, he loves my kid and I love their kids and we’re all one big family.”

This is how blended families should work! It takes a village, after all. Seeing Lenny Kravitz, Lisa Bonet, and Jason Momoa make this complicated co-parenting thing work is truly, truly inspiring.
