Mariah Carey Is Launching a Beauty Brand

Christmas has come early this year, it seems, because Mariah Carey is finally giving us all what we want. According to Page Six, the singer is reportedly launching a beauty brand with her manager Stella Bulochnikov (whom you might recognize from Carey's eight-part series, Mariah’s World, on E! if it too was your guilty TV pleasure).

“Mariah and Stella are opening a business together, their own beauty company that they hope will feature their own products of makeup, skin care, and fragrances,” a source revealed to the publication. “They plan on opening a brick-and-mortar store in Beverly Hills and have been secretly looking at a number of retail spaces with a plan to unveil it this holiday season or next year by the latest.”

This is obviously the right move because a line by Mariah Carey deserves only the best presentation—no Instagram or online shop could top the sweet, sweet fantasy of walking into a store we can only imagine will be dripping in diamonds and Swarovski crystals, with Butterfly's best hits blasting over the speaker. What can we say? The woman knows her way around a glam room.

This, of course, also isn't Carey’s first foray into cosmetics. Most recently, the singer's collaborated with MAC on two different holiday collections. Little did we know she was just dipping her toe into the industry, only to come back with fervor, as only she does best. Her 2016 holiday collection featured 23 products—named after her favorite songs—ranging from eyeshadow to liquid liner, lip pencils, and (not to be forgotten) shimmery lipsticks.

No other information has been released about the line yet, but with body glitter and metallic lipstick making their way back from the '90s, our hopes are about as high as Carey's vocal range: soaring.
