Shay Mitchell isn’t done shedding tears for Pretty Little Liars just yet. The hit series wrapped filming last week after seven seasons on Freeform, and both the cast and fans have been feeling the feels since. Stars Mitchell, Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Sasha Pieterse, and Janel Parrish shared emotional social media posts at the time and even commemorated the occasion by getting matching tattoos on their “Shh” fingers.

On Tuesday (November 1) Mitchell released a heartbreaking YouTube video for her official PLL farewell letter, and it’ll make any fan — even those who stopped watching halfway through — tear up. Shay’s waterworks were so powerful, her false eyelashes came off.

“Sad, anxious, excited, terrified, inspired, gratified, nervous, unsure, proud, upset, accomplished, relieved, devastated, lucky: I didn’t know it was possible to feel so much at once, yet I sit here with all my feelings,” she reads aloud from her phone. “It feels like the last day of school with just an extra bit of emptiness.”

The nine-minute video includes shout-outs to PLL’s crew and, of course, creator Marlene King. Mitchell — appropriately wearing a bright red “A” jacket — tearfully describes how the show changed her life, introduced her to new friends, and skyrocketed her career.

“Can’t have new beginnings if you don’t have endings,” she consoles herself (and you) at the end of the clip. Talk about a bittersweet goodbye.
