Kevin Durant, Three Other Brooklyn Nets Contract COVID-19

The coronavirus continues to spread throughout the United States and has hit the planet of  Brooklyn. On Tuesday, the Brooklyn Nets announced that four players on the team have tested positive for the virus.

The names of all the players were not made public, but we do know that NBA superstar Kevin Durant is one them. It’s been a rough two years for KD health-wise.

Reports say only one of the four is exhibiting symptoms while the others are asymptomatic. All four are in quarantine.

Here’s more from the Nets’ press release:

“The organization is currently notifying anyone who has had known contact with the players, including recent opponents, and is working closely with state and local health authorities on reporting. All players and members of the Nets travel party are being asked to remain isolated, closely monitor their health and maintain constant communication with team medical staff. The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible.”

The four Nets players raise the number of NBA players testing positive to seven.

The organization is now going through the process of notifying anyone who had contact with the players over the past two weeks, including other teams.

Since March 3, Brooklyn has played the Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers.
