The Stars Came Out For NBA All-Star

North Carolina natives J Cole, Anthony Hamilton and other stars of the entertainment industry came out in abundance for the NBA All-Star Game. 

NBA All-Star weekend brought some of the entertainment industry’s top performers to Charlotte. This weekend was especially prideful for lyrical dynamo J.Cole, who is from North Carolina and headlined the halftime show.

2019 GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist and North Carolina native @JColeNC will take the court in his home state to headline the 2019 #NBAAllStar Game halftime show (Sunday 2/17 @NBAonTNT)!

Charlotte-born Anthony Hamilton returned to the city that cultivated his musical genius and will sing the national anthem. In addition to the hometown performers, Philadelphia rap activist Meek Mill took the stage prior to the game to set the mood and get the fans in an all out bars and hoops mode.

Other titans of the entertainment and music industry were in attendance.

Carly Rae Jepsen performed the Canadian anthem.

Jamie Foxx was spotted at the All-Star activities as well.

Joining Jamie as well-recognized spectators were iconic movie director and avid Knicks fan Spike Lee, soul singer Janelle Monáe, actress Gabrielle Union (Dwyane Wade’s wife), Karlie Kloss, rappers 2 Chainz, Migos, Gucci Mane, reggaeton king Bad Bunny, Hasan Minhaj and actor Guy Fieri.
