Want a quick weekend organizing project with a BIG impact? ⁣ ⁣ Head on over to your undies drawer! Whether it’s briefs from college, bras that are cute but just soooo uncomfortable, thongs that pinch (worst!), or nursing bras that have served their purpose, we all have items we realllly need to part with.⁣ ⁣ This area of your home should be simple and effortless. Who wants to start their day digging through an abyss of underwear they never wear? Keep only the items you’d reach for any day without giving it any thought. The rest can go…⁣ ⁣ Which leads to a question I get a lot: What do you do with your old undergarments?!⁣ ⁣ Here’s 3 ideas:⁣ • Recycle: There are plenty of clothing recycling companies around the country that break down the clothing and use the fibers to create insulation, carpet pads, paper, etc. Check out Planet Aid. ⁣ • Donate: IF (big if) your items are in very good condition, you can donate them to your local centers. Check their website to make sure they accept undergarments. ⁣ • Compost: Yes, really. If your underwear are made out of natural fibers (organic cotton, linen, hemp) you can cut them into thin strips and toss into your compost bin, or plant in your garden. Just make sure that your undies are ???? natural fibers and not mixed with polyesters. ⁣ ⁣ So tell me: who’s going to tackle their underwear drawer this weekend? ⁣????????‍♀️
