Conor McGregor Is Launching a New Whiskey Line, and Had One Helluva Post-Fight Party

The Notorious one was hammered, then he got totally hammered.

Conor McGregor’s not going anywhere. The word “indomitable” seems to have been coined for the Irish UFC champ, and he embodied its meaning after his loss to Floyd Mayweather Saturday night in Las Vegas

The best example was when the Notorious One held up a bottle of whiskey and indicated he’s going into the Irish whiskey market with his own brand, which, of course, is called “Notorious.” He was his own best ad for the brown stuff. Or worst, depending on your perspective.

After the presser, McGregor did what many might say the Irish do best: he partied.

The McGregor after-fight party happened at the Wynn Encore Beach Club and it was completely sold out. At least 2000 fans greeted the colorful fighter when he walked in around 3 in the morning. Fortunately, for those who love a good party, some moments were captured on video by a reporter.

Unbowed, McGregor worked the crowd, shouting “You’ll never beat the Irish” and stoking his whiskey again.

McGregor was reportedly wearing shades to cover the aftermath of meeting Floyd Mayweather‘s hard right hand, but other than that, it seems clear that he wasn’t down and out by any measure.

Since he’s walking away a certified multimillionaire just 5 years after he was on the Irish government dole—welfare—it’s easy to see why Conor McGregor had reason to celebrate.
