Chevy has taken the wraps off the 2020 Silverado HD pickup truck, which it describes as the “most capable and most advanced Silverado HD ever.” The 2020 Chevy Silverado HD is also the third new Silverado model, which is going to officially debut in February.
The 2020 Chevy Silverado HD stands out from the rest of the Silverado lineup with its bolder front fascia. While the look is similar to the Silverado 1500, the 2020 Silverado HD only actually shares its roof with its light-duty sibling.
When the 2020 Silverado HD arrives in mid-2019, it will be offered with the choice of two powertrains: a gasoline engine that’s mated to a six-speed transmission or a Duramax turbo diesel V8 with 910 lb-ft. of torque that’s mated to an Allison 10-speed transmission.
Inside Chevy says that the new Silverado HD will offer an additional 3 inches of legroom on crew cab models and a taller seating position than before.
