If the Russians really do have sensitive information on President Trump, Vladimir Putin certainly isn't willing to admit to it in a televised interview with an American network. In an interview with NBC News' Megyn Kelly aired Sunday, the former KGB agent rejected suggestions that Moscow had a dossier of damaging information, reports Reuters. "Well, this is just another load of nonsense," Putin said. He said he had never met Trump, let alone had a "special relationship" with him. "I think we have representatives from a hundred American companies that have come to Russia," he added. "Do you think we're gathering compromising information on all of them right now or something? Have you all lost your senses over there?"

Putin, speaking to Kelly in St. Petersburg, denied that Russia had interfered in the US election and argued that the US has a long history of meddling in elections, NBC News reports. "Put your finger anywhere on a map of the world, and everywhere you will hear complaints that American officials are interfering in internal electoral processes," he said. When Kelly raised the issue of human rights in Russia, Putin said the US should stop moralizing. "Why do you feel you have the right to ask us these kinds of questions? And do it all the time?" he asked. (Putin also said he barely remembers meeting Michael Flynn.)
