These Pastel Sneakers Are Genius

Pastel sneakers are kind of everything

The sneaker landscape is, er, pretty crowded, but Converse proves that you don’t need to be flashy to stand out. On August 3, the brand drops a pastel-hued collaboration with Tyler, The Creator (and Golf le Fleur, Golf Wang being his merch label). The collection consists of a spruced-up suede One Star sneaker, $130, in enticing colourways like “Sulphur,” “Airway Blue,” “Peach Pearl” and “Fuchsia Glow” plus hoodies and T-shirts. Where the runners really impress is with multiple intricate details—imagine a flower stitched around the star, an embroidered bee on the heel, a sunflower insole and the Tyler quote “Don’t let ‘em kill your flowers, water your garden and stunt” etched on the sock liner and outsole. All that summer sneaker-ness goes for $130.

Fresh from the release of his much-talked-about Flower Boy album, the 26-year-old rapper and Kendall Jenner pal makes the case for head-to-toe-pastels while modelling the shoes. The campaign images are certainly not hard on the eyes, either. Check out the drop’s visuals below and score the limited-edition unisex collection in-stores or online.
