You hate to see it. Another fragile soul being asked to wear a mask—and having a meltdown instead of just being a good member of the community. This time, the meltdown happened in a Fort Myers Costco and it was a white man instead of a white woman having the hissy fit. He is being called “Costco Ken” and had to be escorted off the premises and then monitored until he left.
Video of the incident went viral, with folks on social media being shocked that this man yelled at an elderly woman and the man who defended her.
“You’re harassing me. I feel threatened,” the man screamed puffing out his chest and stomping toward another man who had reportedly come to defend the elderly woman. “Back off! Threaten me again. Back the f**k up put your f**king phone down,” you can hear him saying.

This occurred at the Gulf Coast Town Center location on 6/27 and one of the customers targeted said: “To give Costco the credit, they escorted him out and made me wait inside and monitored him until he left and then they send someone with me to the care to make sure I’m okay.”

The man was wearing a red T-shirt that read “Running The World Since 1776.” Gather what you may from that outfit choice.

This wasn’t an accident.
The guy has probably been jacking it to Tucker Carlson for months now and came in looking for a confrontation where he could yell real loud like a like a big boy.

I’ve looked and thought about this. He states “he feels threatened, back off” while moving aggressively towards the man who is recording. Kind of a stand your ground exercise. This is pre-meditated.

He said, “I feel threatened” because speaking those words publicly in Florida enables the individual to defend themselves lawfully. I guess he was going to knock her out? “I feel threatened” is a defense for “Stand Your Ground” gun usage in FL.

Folks are also calling on stores like Costco to implement new rules for shoppers so people can feel safe when they are shopping.
@Costco please consider implementing new rule that if customer wears mask to get into store and then removes it after entering that you will permanently revoke their membership. Seen too many people doing it these days and I don’t go as much because of arrogance of these members.
