Trump says he’s thankful for himself this Thanksgiving

President Trump on Thursday revealed what he’s most thankful for.

He told reporters gathered at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida that he’s grateful “for having a great family and for having made a tremendous difference in this country.”

“This country is so much stronger now than it was when I took office that you wouldn’t believe it,” Trump continued. “I mean, you see it, but so much stronger that people can’t even believe it. When I see foreign leaders they say, ‘We cannot believe the difference in strength between the United States now and the United States two years ago.’ Made a lot of progress.”

The remark followed his call to US troops in which he “mixed Thanksgiving cheer with politics,” notes the Wall Street Journal.

“Trump likened the fight against terrorists to his efforts to prevent a group of migrants from illegally entering the United States, and he assailed federal judges who have ruled against his administration,” reports CNN.
