Subaru has announced the pricing for the three-row 2019 Subaru Ascent SUV, which arrives this summer. The 2019 Ascent pricing starts at $32,970. All versions of the 2019 Ascent are powered by a turbocharged 2.4L engine that sends its power to all four-wheels. Plus buyers can choose either seven-passenger or eight-passenger versions of Subaru’s big SUV.
The 2019 Subaru Ascent is powered by a 260 horsepower turbocharged 2.4L four-cylinder with 277 lb-ft. of torque that’s mated to a CVT transmission. Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel drive is standard and the Ascent is rated at 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. If you choose the larger 20-inch wheels, then there’s a small MPG penalty at 20 mpg city/ 26 mpg highway.
Buyers will be able to choose from base, Premium, Limited and Touring trim levels.
The base trim starts at $32,970 with destination and comes standard with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, a 6.5” Multimedia system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, three zone automatic climate control, automatic power door locks and power side mirrors, raised roof rails, second-row bench seat (8 passengers) and 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
The Premium trim starts at $35,170 and adds Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, towing capability up to 5,000 lbs., a power driver seat, spill-repellent cloth seats, a larger 8.0” Multimedia Plus system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi connectivity, rear seat climate controls, and different 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The Premium trim also comes with the All-Weather Package with heated exterior mirrors, 3-mode heated front seats and windshield wiper de-icer.
The Ascent Premium is also available with options, like second-row captain’s chairs, 20-inch wheels, a power rear gate, Keyless Access with Push-Button Start, auto dimming rear view compass mirror with HomeLink, panoramic moonroof and an 8.0” Multimedia Navigation system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The Ascent Limited starts at $39,970 and adds leather seats, LED Steering Responsive Headlights with High Beam Assist, LED fog lights and new second-row retractable sunshades, and 20-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. The Limited trim also adds lower door cladding with chrome accents and body-color side mirrors with integrated turn signals, driver’s seat adjustable thigh support, power rear gate with height memory, and Keyless Access with Push-Button Start.
The top Ascent Touring model starts at $45,670 and adds satin silver side mirrors with integrated turn signals, chrome door handles, chrome front underguard and rear bumper protector. The Touring model’s interior features Java Brown leather seats, a leather heated steering wheel, ventilated driver and front passenger seats and a 120-volt power outlet. The Touring also adds the 8.0-inch Multimedia Navigation system, Harman Kardon Quantum Logic surround sound system with 14 speakers, panoramic power moonroof and rain-sensing wipers.
