In the wake of the revelation that President Trump allegedly tried to meddle in FBI affairs, the Senate Intelligence Committee and the Senate Judiciary Committee want to see James Comey's memos. Leaders of both committees have asked the FBI to turn over any such memos relating to Comey's communications with the White House or the Justice Department having to do with the FBI's Russia investigation, Politico reports. The Intelligence Committee has also requested Comey testify in front of its members, and the Judiciary Committee says it will likely do the same.

Meanwhile, Trump appeared before US Coast Guard Academy graduates Wednesday and, amid a speech about fighting back against injustice, told the crowd, "Look at the way I have been treated lately, especially by the media. No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly. You can't let them get you down, you can't let the critics and the naysayers get in the way of your dreams." The line drew much applause, CNN reports. (More James Comey stories.)
