Forget about big screen TV. Here’s a tiny projector that throws 240-inch 1080p image on any flat surface that you can take anywhere and it is called Piqo Projector. Coming from a LA-based company of the same name, Piqo Projector is as good as TV because, Android. Being Powered by Android, it opens up a world of possibility – thanks to the 3 million+ apps available at your disposal on Google Play Store. This means, in addition to streaming the contents you already have on your smartphone or tablet to the projector, you will have access to other entertainment options, including but not limited to Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and whatnot.

Piqo Projector staked its claim as the smallest projector in its class, measuring 2.25 x 2.25 x 2.25 inches (5.72 x 5.72 x 5.72 centimeters) and weighs in at mere 8 ounces (210g), and while it is small, it ain’t lacking of features. Features include touchscreen navigation, Texas Instruments DLP technology, 200 ANSI lumens brightness, built-in HiFi speaker engineered by Harman Kardon and Bose engineers, onboard storage, automatic keystone angle correction aided by gravity sensors, an internal battery pack that offers 5 hours of video/50 hours of music playback and fast charging that gets you an hour of playback with 15 minutes charge.

And did we mention that it works with most popular platforms? Yeah, Piqo Projector works with Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows. It is crazy how far projection technology has progressed. Pardon me for my unnecessary awe and exhilaration for yours truly here, but I can’t help but to be impressed at what this little device is capable, and if you do too, you may want to consider picking up a unit as a pre-order on Indiegogo InDemand for $399. That’s like a fraction of the price for a huge ass flat screen TV – but only when it is still on Indiegogo. After which, it will run back at 700 bucks. So, you may want to act on it soon if you want to take advantage of the pre-sale price.
