Chris Evans’ Adorable Dog Interrupts His 22-Pushup Challenge Video

Man’s best friend is helping raise awareness for veterans.

Chris Evans took the 22-Pushup Challenge on Monday, and his video might be the cutest yet. Bonus points since it’s for a good cause!

Evans was nominated by fellow actor John Krasinski to take part in the social media challenge, which aims to raise awareness of the high suicide rate among veterans. According to the #22Kill movement, an average of 22 veterans die by suicide every day.

Evans starts by thanking “all the men and women who serve this country,” then gets down on his yoga mat to do his pushups. As he does the challenge, Evans’ dog Dodger refuses to let his owner ignore him. And even when the actor tries to push the pup out of the way, he just keeps on licking Evans’ face. It really is adorable. And if this doesn’t put a smile on your face today, we’re not sure what will.

Evans is just the latest on a growing list of celebrities to take part in the challenge.

Krasinski also posted a video of himself doing pushups as his dog watched, and one of our favorite Hollywood couples, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, also participated.
