Kourtney, who is mom to Mason, Penelope, and Reign, continued saying that she has “to make sure they understand what it means to have white privilege.” Not only that but she knows she has to make sure they “take the time to learn and discuss Black History, beyond just one short month out of the year.”

“I encourage other mothers to join me in using this as a learning lesson for our children, to allow our children to feel comfortable enough to come talk to us about anything. Allow conversation without judgment, and learn from our children too. We don’t know it all. My children sometimes ask questions that I may not know the answers to, so we explore them together.”

And the mom admitted that even though she believes she’s “always been on the right side of this,” she knows she still has “a lot to learn and want to educate myself even more so that I can be a better mother, a better auntie to my nieces and nephews, a better friend, and a better person.”

  1. It seems to me that Kourtney is doing a great job being a mother. She seems less interested in fame than her siblings and more focused on what she deems as very important, including her children and teaching them important lessons.

  2. THE KARTRASHIANS NEED TO EXPLAIN TO THE KIDS WHY MOMMY AND AUNTIES CAN’T KEEP THEIR CLOTHES ON AND POSTS THE PHOTOS FOR ALL TO SEE ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND THE PRINTED MEDIA, AS WELL ! WHITE PRIVILEGE ? THE KIDS ARE HALF BLACK DOESN’T THAT SEND THEM A CONFUSED MESSAGE ? WHAT’S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE ?
