Steelers owner Art Rooney II says it’s “hard to envision” that Antonio Brown will be on the team when they report for training camp in July.  He made the revelation in an interview the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Rooney also said the team wouldn’t release him, but all other options were on the table.

“There’s not much we can do right now; we have time to make a decision,” Rooney said in his first public comments since Brown skipped out on practices and team meetings leading up to the Dec. 30 game at Heinz Field. “We’ll look at all the options. We’re not going to release him, that’s not on the table. But I will say all other options are on the table.

“Whether the situation can be reconciled and have him back on the team next year, we’re a long way away from thinking that can happen. We’re not closing the door on anything at this point.”

The Steelers don’t care if you’re the best running back or receiver in the league, they will let both of you walk without hesitation.  A quarterback accused of sexual assault?  That’s a different story.

No wonder Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown want out.  Pittsburgh will be bringing their season of drama with them into the off-season.
