I am not being sarcastic when I say that I appreciate that the Downton Abbey movie is being treated like a Marvel superhero movie, with tons of posters and a variety of trailers. The Downton Abbey movie IS my Avengers. Lady Mary is my Captain America, Lady Edith is my….who is a sort of sad-sack tragedy superhero who finally triumphs but not until after she has a terrible fiasco involving her baby and a pig farmer? Is she whoever Paul Bettany played? (I fell asleep all four times I tried to watch Infinity War so all I know is that he isn’t human and he seemed sad. I assume he’s dead now.) Whatever, we’ll figure this out.
