Kate Gosselin Moved to North Carolina But Most of Her Kids Aren’t Living With Her

Kate Gosselin has ditched Pennsylvania for North Carolina and her kids are not too happy about it.

Gosselin took her 16-year-old sextuplets, Joel, Alexis, Leah and Aaden — down south after selling the family’s longtime home in PA but twins Mady and Cara Gosselin, who are 20 and currently in college, have yet to join.

Back in February, Kate sold her house for close to $1.1 million.

After putting it up for sale at the end of 2020, it quickly went off the market despite it being sold for a bit below Kate’s asking price of $1.29 million.

Allegedly, the choice to sell was due to financial issues that came up at the end of her TV career.

“Kate picked up and moved the kids down to North Carolina to spend their junior and senior years there with a totally new life,” a source told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY.

“The two older girls are in no rush to go to North Caroline. They weren’t happy about the move because they have no friends there.”

The other sextuples, Collin and Hannah, still live with their father, Kate’s ex, Jon Gosselin.

Jon was estranged from the children who were still in his ex-wife’s custody and he admitted it had been years since he had seen or talked to them.

But just because they are far away, doesn’t mean he has given up hope just yet.

“He hopes to be able to see the other kids soon,” the source added. “He hasn’t spoken or talked to them in so long.”
