Women Are Sharing The Things Men Should Know About Women But Don’t

As men and women, we’re all guilty of making generalizations about the opposite sex in some ways.

Women largely see guys as simplistic creatures who only care about sports and sex, while men write women off as being overly dramatic and way too complicated to truly understand.

After all, how could you ever be expected to practice self-awareness and reflect on/communicate about your feelings? I don’t know, ladies—is it any wonder we’re so misunderstood?

In the spirit of enlightenment, women came together on Twitter as part of the #thingsmendontknowaboutwomen hashtag to share some seemingly obvious (but not obvious enough to men) facts about the fairer sex.

Many of the responses were about sex and how a guy can be better at it, but there were also tidbits about bodily functions, career, and even just the experience of being a woman in general.

Here were some of the best posts that have popped up thus far.

We watch porn too. It’s not just the men. We feel sexual urges and we’re not some pure innocent dolls that you can just touch whenever you want to. We are humans just like men. Instead of taking advantage of us, just treat us normally for once…

The majority of women get diarrhoea on their period. Period poops are no joke. They’re very very real.

95% of us don’t give a shit if you buy us $12 super market flowers or spend hundreds on a gift for us, we care about the effort shown and thought and sentiment behind it. Like you buy me a $.25 key chain because you thought of me I’ll keep that forever #WhatMenDontKnowAboutWomen
