‘The Simpsons’ Will Spoof ‘Stranger Things’ for its 666th Episode

This year for The Simpsons‘ annual Halloween special the show is taking on Stranger Things. This will mark the 30th installment of “Treehouse of Horror.” Even more appropriate to the season, it will also be the show’s 666th episode. Spooky.
The poster above parodies Season 1 of the hit Netflix show and it features Lisa as Eleven, Chief Wiggum as Hopper, Martin as Lucas, Bart as Mike, and Nelson as Dustin.
The poster also shows Homer looking suitably freaked out, Selma Bouvier wrapped up in the tentacles of Kang or Kodos—which would also be a good spoof of Shape of Water—and the top of the poster reading: “Episode 666—as we planned from the beginning.”
