17 Times Instagram Photoshopping Went Too Far

Huge shocker here: Instagram is all fake.

Unless scientists have secretly genetically modified people to not need half of their organs, every photo you see of a perfect body on Instagram is fake. After all, who really needs their stomach and intestines when you have a dump truck ass?

Heavily editing photos can be really harmful for personal expectations and mental health to be exposed to bodies that simply aren’t real. The Instagram Reality subreddit works to expose people who highly edit their photos and show users that the bodies they’re seeing aren’t real.

Bottom line is: influencers don’t actually care about their followers. They care about their following. People follow them because their lives and bodies look perfect when they’re actually not even close. It’s time people stopped lying about it.
