Cher’s Malibu mansion was a major drug den – but the pop icon had no idea.

Police arrested Donovan Ruiz, the 23-year-old nephew of one of her longtime assistants. Ruiz lives in Cher’s mansion.

Authorities found narcotics and drug paraphernalia on Ruiz and in his room at the home, as well as .22 caliber bullets, according to TMZ.

Officers allegedly found 1.3 grams of fentanyl powder in his pants, in addition to a Xanax pill, an unidentified white pill, tin foil, and a pink straw with brown residue.

Also inside Ruiz’s room were 16 yellow pills marked ‘215’, two pink pills marked ‘K40’, four fentanyl patches, and a Gucci box containing burnt foil and a straw.

Witnesses told TMZ that several patrol cars were at Cher’s mansion, as were a fire truck and an ambulance.

The police allegedly called paramedics because they feared violence might break out during the arrest.

Authorities have also since revealed that Ruiz was on his way to Los Angeles International Airport for a flight to Australia, where Cher is currently on tour.

Ruiz is suspected of selling fentanyl to Kevin Cunningham, a 26-year-old Thousand Oaks resident who overdosed and died in September.

He has been charged with supplying narcotics to someone who dies, a felony.
