We Can’t Stop Staring at These Supremely Bizarre Supercar Pickup Trucks

Remember the Chevrolet El Camino and the Ford Ranchero? They were mashed up car-pickup truck combinations that offered the ride and handling of a car with the utility of an open pickup bed.

Enterprising British van dealer FordTransitDirect.co.uk remembers and has conjured up it own renderings of modern luxury cars reinterpreted as pickups to use as shameless clickbait for its web site. And it worked, because here we are!

Like the awesome snow track-equipped Lamborghini renders and the knobby-tired Porsche and Ferrari we’ve seen previously, these crazy images spark the imagination of the possibilities. 

After all, the best-selling vehicles in the U.S. are pickup trucks, so at some point maybe a luxury brand will actually take this on.

For now, these luxury trucks remain a dream, but thanks to FordTransitDirect.co.uk, we can appreciate the idea until somebody builds them.
