A sense of humor is important when it comes to getting a joke. Some people have a pretty rigid view of the world, and when jokes start flying, you can almost hear the “woosh” sound of them going right over their heads.
These people missed the joke, but that’s okay because it ended up being funnier than the joke itself. That makes it more entertaining for us.
