Aston Martin Just Unleashed The Stunning Vanquish Zagato Coupe

007’s favorite automaker has a brand-new ride.

Only a month after wowing attendees at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este at Lake Como, Italy with the concept Zagato Coupe, Aston Martin has approved the incredible speedster for production.

The company will offer just 99 examples of this rebodied Vanquish, with deliveries starting in early 2017. Aston has worked with Italian coachbuilder Zagato for custom cars over the years, starting with the 1960 DB4 GT Zagato race car, which is now valued at $15 million.

More recent collaborations between the companies include the 1986 V8 Vantage Zagato, the 2002 DB7 Vantage Zagato and the 2011 V12 Vantage Zagato.

This new Zagato features an upgraded V12 engine from the regular Vanquish. It now produces 592 horsepower, accelerating the Zagato from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

While the Zagato bears a clear resemblance to the Vanquish, its carbon fiber body work is made of large panels that reduce the number of cut lines between sections for a continuously flowing appearance.

Around back you can spot the bladed LED taillights featured on the Vulcan track-only car, and the outside mirrors are lifted from the exclusive One-77 model.

Put your orders in now—as these beauties will surely be going fast.
