Many theaters in Africa were not able to get their hands on the official movie posters of Hollywood blockbusters, like “The Matrix”, so they tasked real artists with the job. Sure, they may not look exactly like their professionally designed counterparts, but they’re quite interesting to look at to say the least. “These posters appeal to people because they invite this really incredible dialogue – a comparison between what you know of a film and how the painter imagined it.
