McLaren has unveiled the McLaren Senna, its most extreme McLaren road car yet. McLaren also points out that even though the McLaren Senna has been designed for use on regular roads, it hasn’t been “sanitized to suit it.”

The McLaren Senna features a carbon fiber Monocage III chassis, which builds upon McLaren 720S’s chassis. Every body panel is made from carbon fiber, which also helps it grab the title as the the lightest road-legal McLaren since the iconic F1 road car, at just 2,641 pounds.
The Senna is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 789-hp and 590 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels.
Once on the road, drivers will find joy with the RaceActive Chassis Control II hydraulic suspension that features hydraulically interconnected dampers and a hydraulic replacement for conventional mechanical anti-roll bars. McLaren carefully crafted every element of the McLaren Senna to maximize the connection between driver and car, at all speeds and in every situation.
The McLaren Senna also features the most advanced braking system ever fitted to a McLaren road car, using carbon ceramic discs and motorsport technologies to deliver extreme performance. The Senna rides on bespoke Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires that were developed in conjunction with Pirelli. Designed for race tracks but approved for road use, they enable a McLaren Senna to be driven to a circuit. Only one style of wheel is available: an ultra-lightweight alloy wheel with a race-inspired center lock system.
McLaren is only going to produce 500 Senna supercars with the pricing starting at £750,000 ($1,003,950 US). Even with that insane price tag, all 500 units are already sold.
