Another day, another It looks like we somehow have even more reason to bow down to Beyoncé than usual. The star announced on Tuesday the creation of her Formation Scholars awards, a program that will give college scholarships to four female students, one at each of four universities. The colleges included are Howard University and Spelman College, both of which are historically black institutions, as well as Berklee College of Music and Parsons School of Design.

And while anyone might want to be chosen by Beyoncé, she is on the lookout for some very particular qualities in her Formation Scholars awards recipients. The chosen few can be incoming, current, or graduate students, but they must be studying either creative arts, music, literature, or African-American Studies, according to her website. The scholarship is set for the 2017–2018 academic year; more specific application details can be found through the selected schools.

The announcement of Formation Scholars comes on the one-year anniversary of Lemonade, Beyoncé's spectacular visual album. And the intent of the scholarship program is to "encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious, and confident." Basically, Beyoncé is paving the way for more Beyoncés in the making.

Formation Scholars is Beyoncé's latest act of generosity tied to Lemonade and the empowering themes of "Formation" specifically. She previously donated a portion of the proceeds from her Formation Tour to Flint, Michigan, in an effort to aid the community's dire need for clean water after three years with a tainted supply. Beyoncé is also not the first Knowles to tie her work to higher learning. Earlier this year, Solange saw her own forceful album about black womanhood, A Seat at the Table, inspire a syllabus that drew on material submitted by young women of color.
