Taylor Swift is headed down the aisle — no, not with rumored new boyfriend, Joe Alwyn — but as a bridesmaid for one of her squad members.

And while Tay's squad has plenty of head-over-heels couples to choose from (Selena and The Weeknd, Gigi and Zayn), it's one of her OG besties that the pop star is rumored to be taking on the bridesmaid role for: Abigail Anderson. Fans will recognize Anderson as the subject of Swift's 2009 song "Fifteen" as well as from several Instagram cameos, and even as Swift's date to the 2015 Grammys.

Speculation that Swift is a member of Anderson's wedding party started when Anderson posted a photo to her Instagram story showing off some bridesmaid swag courtesy of Love Your Melon. The photo, first spotted by HelloGiggles, shows off a box displaying the name "Taylor," sending fans into a tizzy that it was meant for Anderson's über-famous childhood pal.

"Thank you so much @loveyourmelon for spoiling my bride tribe and giving me all the feels!" Anderson's post read. And while Anderson didn't confirm that the gift was definitely meant for Swift, their BFF status for more than a decade makes it seem all the more likely.

Not to mention, Swift is quite familiar with celebrating her childhood bestie. She's previously thrown Anderson an engagement party (during her Fourth of July festivities last year) — complete with cameo from Ed Sheeran — and in 2015, Swift surprised Anderson with a birthday party featuring a concert from Anderson's favorite singer, Dashboard Confessional's Chris Carrabba. And just last year, the pop star sent Anderson a hand-painted card reading, "My weird heart loves your weird heart." (#squadgoals, much?) We can only imagine what Taylor would have in store for Anderson's wedding at this rate.

This also wouldn't be Swift's first time in a wedding party. Last year, the singer acted as a maid of honor for another childhood friend, Britany Maack, flooring the internet with a sweet and emotional speech dedicated to the couple. She's even crashed a fan's wedding last June, because let's be honest, Taylor's a hopeless romantic.

Anderson announced her engagement last June on social media, posting a photo of her (sporting some major bling) and fiancé Matt Lucier in Nashville, Tennessee (her and Taylor's hometown).

Perhaps Tay's Fourth of July shindig this year will be an all-out wedding bash for Anderson? But the question remains: Will Joe Alwyn get an invite?
